The Whistleblower Protection Act

Announcement Regarding the Implementation of the Whistleblower Protection Act at Tronel Sp. Z o.o.

We kindly inform you that the Whistleblower Protection Procedure has been implemented at Tronel Sp. Z o.o., in accordance with the Act of June 14, 2024, on Whistleblower Protection.

A whistleblower is an individual who ethically reports legal violations in the workplace.

The procedure and its provisions apply to reports of legal violations, including actions or omissions that are illegal or intended to circumvent the law in the following areas:

  1. Public procurement;
  2. Financial services, products, and markets;
  3. Prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing;
  4. Environmental protection;
  5. Consumer protection;
  6. Privacy and personal data protection;
  7. Network and information system security;
  8. The financial interests of the European Union;
  9. The internal market of the European Union, including competition and state aid rules, as well as corporate taxation;
  10. Corruption.

If you become aware of any legal violations (within the scope outlined above) in our company, have evidence of such activities, and report them to our Whistleblower Report Coordinator, you may be granted whistleblower status, and your personal data will remain completely confidential, known only to the Coordinator.

Particularly after submitting the report, as well as during any proceedings that follow due to the whistleblower’s information about violations of EU law, the whistleblower’s personal data will be CONFIDENTIAL, stored solely for evidentiary purposes for 3 years after the report, and handled exclusively by the Whistleblower Report Coordinator.

A special set of Regulations is in place at our company, along with a procedure for reporting violations – this document specifies the form for reporting misconduct, protection measures for whistleblowers, and penalties for retaliatory actions against them.
